About Long Island Farm School – Cultivating Curiosity, One Child at a Time.

Welcome to Long Island Farm School, where kids sprout curiosity, harvest joy, and leave each day with muddy boots and big smiles! We’re a family-run nature schoolrooted in love, laughter, and the belief that learning should feel more like play than plowing through a textbook.

I’m a mom of two, animal lover, and former “mud queen” who’s traded classroom walls for barnyard halls. After years of teaching, I saw how traditional schools often limit the joy of discovery. That’s why I created Long Island Farm School — a nature-based preschool and outdoor learning programwhere children ages 3–5 can dig in, get messy, and grow naturally through hands-on experiences with animals, gardens, and the land itself.

My husband, who proudly serves with the Sheriff’s Office, is right by my side. Together, we’re cultivating a community that values connection, service, and care — for the earth, for animals, and for each other.

Here, your child won’t just sit at a desk—they’ll chase chickens, plant seeds, splash in puddles, and laugh until their bellies ache. We believe when kids love learning, they become lifelong learners—the kind who see the world as one big barnyard of possibilities.

Whether you’re looking for Mommy & Me classes, a homeschool-friendly co-op, or a Long Island summer camp that’s more than slides and sprinklers, you’ve found the right pasture.

At Long Island Farm School, every day is an opportunity to play, discover, and grow. Because when kids get a little mud on their boots and grass on their knees, the memories—and lessons—stick forever.
