Classes & More

At Long Island Farm School, children ages 3–5 learn through real-life experiences on the farm — caring for animals, gardening, and exploring nature in every season. Our nature-based programs include farm classes, Mommy & Me sessions, and summer camps on Long Island, all designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and joy through outdoor learning.

As a homeschool and co-op friendly nature school, our programs invite families to slow down, dig in, and experience early childhood education the way it was meant to be — hands-on, heart-led, and connected to the land. You won’t want your child to miss out on this one-of-a-kind farm school experience.

Little Sprout & Me

Join us for a 1-hour farm adventure designed for toddlers and preschoolers with their caregiver. Together, you’ll explore the farm, meet friendly animals, dig in the garden, and enjoy hands-on learning through play. Seedlings Academy

Seedlings Academy is coming September 2026! Designed for children ages 3–5, our program is where little learners sprout into curious explorers—digging in the dirt, feeding friendly farm animals, collecting eggs, planting seeds, and enjoying story time in the barn. Seedlings Academy gives children the space to play, learn, and connect with nature in a safe, nurturing environment. Every muddy boot, grassy knee, and cow slobber kiss will be worth the extra load of laundry as your child grows wild, free, and full of wonder.

Homeschool Classes at Long Island Farm School (Ages 6–8)

Hands-on learning rooted in nature

Our Homeschool Classes are designed especially for children ages 6 to 8 who love to explore, create, and connect with the natural world. During each one-hour class, students dive into farm life — feeding animals, gardening, crafting, and learning through curiosity and play.

Every session blends science, sustainability, and social connection, giving homeschool families a meaningful way to meet learning goals while spending time outdoors.

Whether your child is new to homeschooling or already part of a learning group, our farm provides the perfect environment to learn, grow, and make friends — naturally.

Classes will be one hour long and held weekly in Wading River.
