Barnyard Days Camp at Long Island Farm School is a playful, hands-on farm camp designed for children ages 3–5. Located in Manorville, our camp invites young learners to explore the farm through movement, creativity, animal care, gardening, and open-ended play — all while feeling safe, supported, and deeply connected to nature

What Is Barnyard Days Camp?

Barnyard Days Camp is a farm-based, play-centered camp experience created especially for preschool-aged children. Each day follows the natural rhythm of farm life — caring for animals, tending gardens, exploring the land, and engaging in meaningful play that supports early childhood development.

Our Farm Classroom

Our farm in Manorville is more than a backdrop — it’s the classroom.

A Day on the Farm

Every week at Barnyard Days Camp is thoughtfully designed — but never over-scheduled.

Children can expect:

  • Morning farm welcomes & circle time

  • Hands-on animal interactions (feeding, observing, caring)

  • Garden exploration & sensory play

  • Open-ended art & farm-inspired crafts

  • Nature walks, mud kitchens & free play

  • Story time, songs & calm wind-down moments

  • Different themed weeks

Registration Information

Registration Opens: February 9th

Location: Manorville, NY

Ages: 3–5

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-11:30am

Spots are limited to keep our camp experience intentional and personal. We encourage families to register early once enrollment opens. We maintain a 12:3 ratio; 2 counselors, 1 floater with 12 seedlings.
